Feeling very sad now hope his ok wished done some thing sooner but no car till 8 pm been like that for 4 hour do you get ride of the vires

Don't beat yourself up, you weren't to know, I don't think anyone on here honestly thought it would be Parvo. You say he'd been poorly for four hours, thats less than if say he started being poorly after you went to bed and you didn't notice until the following morning.

Am not sure how it's treated, I'd assume plenty of fluids and antibiotics. Whenever he needs to fight this he'll be getting so try not to focus on it too much, you'll drive yourself to dispair.

When are you next speaking to the vet?

So sorry to hear it is parvo - wasn't expecting that  :'(  Still, at least you took him to the vet quickly and hopefully they can get the meds going quickly too.  ;)

Sending lots of healing thoughts from here for your little fella  :-*

Just been in touch with the vets and they have informed us that jazz is a little brighter and happier today. He has eaten a few bits of food and has had no more sickness or runny poo through the night. Vet says he has even pulled his drip out once this morning  :005:
Have asked the vet for advise on cleaning away any remaining strains of the virus and they have advised us to bleach and strongly disinfect any areas he might have pood and to strongly disinfect and bleach all his bedding and toys or if they was not to expensive to replace them all. Do you reckon we should throw all his toys and bedding away just to be on the safe side ???????
