Thank you all for your positive thoughts, it means a lot  :-*

The Vet was hoping that the results would be back by the end of the week and then we can sort out a date for his operation.  I was hoping that if it wasn't anything serious that he wouldn't have to remove it because it isn't worrying Woofie at all, but the Vet seemed to indicate that it would need removing whatever the results were.

I hope Woofie's OK. One of our fluffies had a similar sounding lump; same thing vet did a biopsy, all clear but insisted on removing it anyway.
