Puppy bed

Our gorgeous golden boy is getting bigger and whilst he happily curls up to sleep in his plastic bed (and blankets) we were wondering whether he needs more space to lie out straight? He is happily crate trained and we want to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!
