Feel awful
« on: January 22, 2013, 05:47:00 PM »
Was walking through the lounge when Honey lunged up to grab my sleeve, she missed and caught my watch. She gave out a loud cry and went all quiet. When I managed to look in her mouth I discovered that one of her large bottom teeth was missing :012: I know its her own fault, but I feel awful......

Bracken did the same thing but was mouthing his crate, he must of slipped and snapped one of his top baby fang tooth, he did yelp badly, been a week now and is fine!

Hope Honey's tooth is okay - I'm sure it will be  :luv:

^Buckley has the tip of his bottom left fang/Canine missing from exactly what Bracken did. It happened one evening when he was around 7/8wks old (very young eh - imagine MY tears) - was being a loon, biting things he would now not, which included running up to his open crate and attaching his face to the door...despite my trying to intervene it was too late and in a split second he went from loopy to weepy and I didn't notice the chip until the next day. However, it has never caused him any distress and I'm quite mindful of the fact now he's done that once...he won't do it again  ;)

We hardly found any of Willows teeth but the ones we did find we kept in a little box. Some might think im sad but id like to describe it as sentimental  :005:

Took Honey to the vets this morning, initially they said that it would have to be taken out. However, she then said that she didnt want to put a young pup through an aneathestic plus it could cause damage to her adult tooth, so have got a weeks worth of anti-biotics. Lets hope this works. Honey hasnt been so mouthy today so maybe it has taught her a lesson!!
I also have kept Rosies teeth that I found (sentimental reasons). Still have my childrens baby teeth
