The socialisation aspect of a puppy class is ideal, was Duggie tired out after all the excitement?
My OH was the same at class, he got talking to someone and said he was only the taxi driver and there under protest, it turned out she was the instructor and I was mortified!

He was tired out before it, I had to wake him up to take him there! Then he fell asleep during it a few times.

OH's are embarrassing, mine had the cheek to say later that he wasn't really moaning, he was just "saying"...

I love seeing piccies of Duggie - Blodwen is at a similar age and I like to see how Duggie is coming along at the same time! I am so impressed with Duggie's discipline and behaviour so far. Blodwen is a little feisty, independent woman in comparison! Training classes for Blodwen don't start near where we live until September - we've enrolled her on the course, but we still have a month to go which seems a long way off for her at the moment! I hope it won't be too late.

Penny has been going to a five week course The lady is very good she just takes the pups one at atime and with treats has them sit stand nad lay down. She has only small classes only five pups she also does behaviour consultations  if any one intrested and also to settle them and leave them to togo other places and other tasks and is so patient .

Of course we black cockers know how to do it, but sometimes we need to keep our mums on their toes by pretending we don't. I should throw in a few norty bits now and then, like you've lulled her into a false sense of security. Not too many mind, just a few now and then for fun, otherwise your mum won't let us be cyber paw pals. Love Rufus. Must go, she's going to look for my latest pigeon!

Hey Rufus, Duggie here, you knows whys I wiz so good at puppy class? Coz I get bizkits! And if I don'ts get bizkits then I gets Mum dancin around and shouting "Goooood boy" in a silly voice and it makes me laff, then I gets loads of cuddles, so it pays to please her really coz I never know when she might bring out a special bizkit called tunnybread and it iz so tasty! The teacher at the class called me a show off coz I did more than I had to, I sat, gave a paw and lay down, even though we wiz only walkin, but that wiz borin, so I livened it up a bit and then got more bizkits!

I just been for my jag and they took me through the back so I could walk on a blanket and show off again, I did all my tricks and stayed, but thens I saw a big dog in a kennel and went to say hewwo, then I fell asleep again, coz it is soooo tirin being so good.

Where you hides the pijin? I see pijins in my garden, I sits at the open door ands I talks to them, Mum sez I sounds like a cat from an advert in the past that warned children to never go wiv strangers, it wiz called "Charlie sez...". I talks a lot, Mum sez I grump and girn.

My Mum doesn't eat any meat, so she wiz nearly sick, but she just held her bweath, she made loads and then she putted it in the fweezer so she can't smell it. She no eat fish either, buts I love tunny, but I no like it that she gives my tunnybread to the ratties!
