The new (and in no way improved) Dougie is still a holy terror ankle gnasher extrordinaire! :005:

I always thought he was called Dougie (short for Douglas, pronounced as Dug-ee) but spelt differently.

Me too  :lol2:
You're confusing me! He was called Duggie, pronounced Dug-ee, but is now Dougie, pronounced Doog-ee. Up here the name short for Douglas is the latter, but I believe that in England, it is spelled Dougie, and pronounced Dug-ee, am I right? :005:

Or am I confusing you?! :lol2:

Ok I was confused but think I got it now  :005: I thought you were saying you have been calling him Doggy, but I thought he was Dougie which is what you were calling him, but now your calling him Doogie but spelt Dougie. I think its the difference in the spelling as you say, and I thought people found my names confusing  :005:

Thank you Vikki for translating that from the Scots version (wot was basically double dutch  :lol2::011:

Can I just call him "handsome boy" Fiona - much simpler  :shades:

Dougie as in Doogie Howser then?

I always thought he was called Dougie (short for Douglas, pronounced as Dug-ee) but spelt differently.

Liking the new name  :D

It's defo Doogie.  I get called it by some friends as my surname is Douglass.

That's fine, although some days you may want to call him variations on that - "stinking boy" is a good one! ;)

Well I wasn't too confused until you tried to explain the difference  :005:

I've changed Charlie and Heidi BTW, as of Friday I've decided when they have their batty heads on, they are now Fred and Hilda  ;)  So apologies as I don't appear to ever exercise Charlie and Heidi, but their alias's do get out and about daily  ;)

Well I'm genuinely surprised that someone calls their dog by it's actual name  Why don't you just do what all us 'normal' people do and shout 'Smeg', 'Stink' or 'Oi!' when you're trying to get him back????? or just use a whistle

He is very grown up now, but still mad. :005: Rhum must be a big boy now too. :luv:
