Poppy used to do this and she was 13 when she died. Before she had a poo she would carefully select the right place to go by circling several times and if it wasn't the right area would move somewhere else and perform the same ritual  :005: Sometimes on a walk she would do 2 or 3 "parcels" which I would pick up and tie up the bag only to find she had moved a little further on and done the smallest amount, so the had to decide whether to open up bag or use another  :shades:

Yes, sounds exactly the same as Odie :005:  Only the 'right' spot will do!!
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!

Jay normally squats to poo BUT he only likes to poo on tree stumps and twigs etc, and on many occasions he has been known to cock his leg, as if going for a wee, and he actually poos up the tree! :o Strange dog!

:lol2: Rodaidh does that ALL the time, he seems to like to mark with his poo and the higher the better, he never poos on normal flat ground, at the very least he has to find a clump of higher grass. He'll cock his leg and then spin around so his bum's as high up as he can get it or he'll straddle a twig to hold it down or back himself right up a tree stump or a rock :005:

Keli was a bit of a poo traveller. I can't determine if Tali is as he won't go outside.

But wait til they have a dangler. Oh the fuss! They try running away and squeak and alsorts

Aha!! I thought it was a female 'thing', Suzie  my Border Collie used to do this, bit of a nuisance in a public place trying to keep up with her >:D Smudge never has - but Katie does it too & she is two :dunno:

Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, and Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22 both now at the Bridge.

Try having one that looks over his shoulder whilst doing it, then having to smell it afterwards to make sure it's his   :dunno:

Oh, and the one who looks over his shoulder has also been seen sniffing Katie's bum whilst in mid delivery   :lol2:
