We went on a 5hr journey to collect Alfie (now 9mths) and still couldn't agree on a name by the time we picked him up. As we travelled home in the evening in the dark with him, my daughter who had met up with us to collect the pup started going through loads of names and nothing fitted. I was just about to say "Leave it for now" when she came up with Alfie (who was sleeping in a tiny bed between us on the back seat) and it was the first name that seemed to sit well with me for him and I haven't regretted calling him that, although since I've come on the COL site it seems to be very popular here!  I have only had to think of male dog names, but think Millie is rather quaint for a girl. I'm sure she'll suit whatever name you decide on at the right time. She looks gorgeous.

She is absolutely gorgeous. I had a chocolate and white called Cassie but I think Gracie is a nice name too.

I think Gracie really suits her, and I have an idea! Think up some really unusual, weird even, names for her, then present the list (with Gracie in the middle of the list) to your OH (in all seriousness) as your final list for him to choose from - and see what happens!

When I got my 3 year old blue road we hadnt decided a name for him.  It was only when i stopped at the garage to fill up with DIESEL that it was decided.
