I`ve gone and done it
« on: November 28, 2012, 09:29:42 AM »
After the tragic loss of Rosie I have been desolate, and after reading your helpful advice I came to the decision that a new puppy was the answer. On friday I collected Honey, she is a solid golden cocker just like Rosie, but that is where the resemblence stops! She is very confident and gets into everything. Its been the best thing that I could have done. Only the other day a friend said that she can see the difference in me. Have only just got the internet back on since moving so am not organise yet to post any pictures, but watch this space......
Rosie, rest in peace my beautiful little girl, you will be in my heart forever. 2/2/12-24/10/12

I am so pleased for you.

I know what is is like to lose a loved one, but it must be even harder in such tragic circumstances, but your new baby will help, but you will always remember Rosie fondly.

Great news, I can't wait to see photos.

Hope you have settled in well in the new place and maybe we can meet up sometime on one of our COL walks

Wonderful News :)

We have our own precious Honey and if your new little bundle is as loving, fun and cheeky as ours then you are in for so much joy :)

Was very sorry to read of your loss of Rosie, my heart can't even comprehend going there, but am sure snuggles with Honey will provide you with comfort at the sad moments, and plenty of distractions too!

I was just thinking about you and your horrible loss the other day and wondering if you'd get another. My pup ran across a couple of roads (fortunately quiet) a couple of weeks ago and I was recounting your sad story to someone. It's something that could happen so easily :(

Anyway, I'm soooo happy for you. I think getting a new puppy is the best thing you could've done. When we lost our first cocker we got another one as soon as we could, and it was definitely the best way to cope with our grief. Can't wait to see pictures. I feel all warm inside now  :D
