Pickle and I are both VERY touched by all your good wishes - and they worked!!!

She made it home at about 6pm very woozy and wobbly - but then indelibly welded herself to my lap for the rest of the evening.  By 7pm cocker kisses were back in full operation, by 9pm she had resumed tail-wagging and "managed" to wolf down 1/2 a tin of the post-op food from the vets without it touching the sides! - by 10pm she was back in full floozy mode - winding-up the other 2 by VERY blatantly rolling around on my lap and the sofa - just because she could!

I shall sadly miss the 2" of tail she has had to sacrifice  :'( :'( :'(- but no doubt she'll just compensate by wagging the rest a bit harder!  I love her to pieces - and I'm so happy to have her home safe & sound.  My Dad is Pickle sitting today while I am at work and no doubt by the time I get home will be back to her normal cockery self!

Thanks once again to you all!

Only just seen this, so glad Pickle is ok and isnt too traumatised from losing a bit of her tail :luv:. Imagine how much of a fuss we would make if it happened to us :o (not that we have tails :005:), and they are soo brave :luv: xx

I loved the bit about your dad Pickle sitting - my dad is Katie sitting (at their house) next Thursday when Henry has his boy op, so she's not on her own  :luv: (also means I can do some last minute shopping  :005:)

I'm glad Pickle is feeling better  :-*
Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

So pleased that Pickle is back home and everything went well.  Hopefully by the weekend she will have forgotten anything happened.
