Is anyone from here going? I'm planning going on the 21st, it would be good to know someone else there, it will be the first event I have been to on my own since splitting up with the OH. And I'm not missing it :shades: even if I am on my own all day :lol2:
It's the 20th and 21st January at Drumlanrig Castle, more info here http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/3042

I want to go but it's a bit far for me this year. I'm aiming for it though so I'll let you know :D

Was wondering that myself Linz, though I might be embarrassed to appear with my hooligans around all those professionals.

You can't bring your own dogs (well you can but you'll have to leave them in the car) but it's open to spectators. I don't know what the ground is like with this one but it's usually a fair bit of walking on rough ground and a few fences to climb over. You need to get there in time to drive/walk up to the start with the stewards; last year the ground where the trial actually took place was about a 10 minute drive from the meeting place where the catering/prizegiving tent etc. was so if you arrived late you wouldn't have found it or been able to catch up with the group if you did get there.

I'm gutted :'( I'm not going to be able to make it. I just got notification for an interview, I was chuffed until I realized it was the 21st. Dumfries is almost a 5 hour drive, so there is no chance I can make it.
I just hope the interview is worth it :-\
Whoever goes, please give us feedback, pleaseeeeeeee

Good luck with your interview :D

Really wanted to go but its a little difficult to get there from Italy, whats the weather like, If I braved all the change of flights an got to Dumfries what are the chances of being snowed in and could I get to the site?

It's ok just now weather-wise but there's no way of saying what it might be like then... It was rescheduled last year due to snow and it was in the same rough area but we'd already had a lot of bad snow throughout January. You would need a car to get there though.
