This years season
« on: August 22, 2007, 11:22:24 PM »
Hi guys

Well its already underway with the grouse, and wont be long till the start of the pheasants etc either. I cant wait to get out there with the dogs and meet up with my friends, some of who I havnt seen since last season.  :shades:

Who all are attending shoots or who is wanting to go? Id like to keep a sort of diary of the shoots etc we attend over this season and add some pictures too  ;)

I would just luuurrrrrv to go, but by the time my dogs got out of quarantine I think the season would be over  :-\ :005:

And after reading that Cazzie shoots peasants, and given that my current financial situation qualifies me as one, I think I'll give it a pass.

Very jealous, so you had better post pics!

I am looking for a group near me to work with and get these dogs doing something useful and blow off some steam!

me, we were checking all the pens yesterday, all the phessies are happy, all the habitat is built and luckily for us this year, all the food is paid for (which we found out wasnt done last year and the shoot captain pocketed some funds and hence why we lost alot of our birds to the forests  >:()

How many birds do you put down Freya?

This year at one of our Estates we have put down 1800 pheasants and they are all doing really well, we have had to let the birds out of one of the pens as they have been starting to tail peck.  >:( On the other estate there have been 500 put down and again they are doing well.  :shades:
