This year the Photo Competition is being run to raise funds for the following very worthy causes:

Medical Detection Dogs
This is a charity that trains dogs (including Cockers) to help people with life threatening health conditions, giving them greater independence and above all saving their lives on a daily basis. Check out their website here: http://medicaldetectiondogs.org.uk/

Pancreatitis Research Fund
Norbert's Fund is raising funds to help research being conducted by Dr Penny Watson at Cambridge University Veterinary School

We are asking for donations of £1 per photo so that would be £2 for two photos, £5 for 5 photos etc. You can enter as many photos as you want and as many classes as you want. No entry will be accepted without a corresponding donation to be fair to all members, sorry.

To keep things as simple as possible we are only taking payment via Paypal (Mary has very kindly offered her services in collating all the payments). If you don't have an account it's quite easy to set one up, normally taking a couple of days to become active ( http://www.paypal.co.uk/uk ). If anyone would rather not set up an account, perhaps you could come to an arrangement with a forum friend to place your order for you.


How To Pay Your Entry Fees
1. Go to Paypal and log in to your account.
2. Select 'send money' from the menu
3. In the 'To' section type mary@cockersonline.co.uk
4. Enter amount (as per above) as GBP British Pounds
5. Select 'Personal' and then tick "Other" (to ensure your donation does not have Paypal fees deducted) then click on 'continue'
6. On the next page check that the amount is correct, a current debit/credit card is listed and also that the correct delivery address is displayed.
7. Scroll down the page and enter 'COL Photo Comp' in the 'subject' box, then in the Message box enter your COL username and list how many classes you are entering and any other relevant info if necessary. (Please remember to enter your COL username as this will make it easier for Mary to contact you, should she need to.)
8. Click on 'Send Money'

Note: If you are entering multiple photos during the period the competition is open and would like to pay in bulk once all photos have been submitted then please contact Mary by PM to inform her.
