07/02/14 NEWSFLASH!! Kadie loves people! Now that she's been here a while and is feeling more confident, she uns to greet any dog and all visitors to her kennel. She loves to sit on your kne and she runs after you to try and stop you leaving. She is adorable. Today she had a go at walking on a harness and did really well, because she just wants to be wth you. If you want a constant companion, look no further, Kadie's your girl.

Why are there so many of these ex breeding dogs, in such a dreadful state?    There seem to be loads at Many Tears.

Are their previous 'owners' ever prosecuted.

Actually a lot of the ex breeders come in from puppy farms in Wales...not so many doglets coming in from Ireland at present due to the legislation being enforced 

Just hope this girlie gets a forever home really soon as she certainly seems to have cuddle monster potential

Yes lots come from Wales too, sadly. Badly worded on my part. Sylvia at Many Tears does regular trips over to Ireland and is heavily fundraising at the moment for a van for those rescuers that help her in Ireland.  It's a horrible situation all round isn't it. At least two of the cockers that came in with Kadie have been adopted, I'm hopeful she will be too soon.

16-02-14 UPDATE
.....Kadie has been in foster for a week now and is an absolute pleasure. She does have small cataracts in both eyes that do not effect her vision at the moment but will need monitoring by her adopters.  For this reason she is by donation.
.....Kadie is mostly clean in the house with lots of garden visits. She is great with my own male and female dogs and is currently living with a cat with no issues. Kadie can walk on a lead and harness now and absolutely loves to go out, she sniffs around waggy tailed taking it all in meeting new dogs politely. Although living with children currently, Kadie would be more comfortable in a home where any kids are older as she can find their noise and unpredictability a bit confusing.
.....Kadie's coat is beginning to grow back and exercise will help her Mummy Tummy to tone up! She is already beautiful and will be stunning.  She sleeps quietly and cleanly all night and can't wait to give you a kiss and cuddle in the morning - what a sweetie!
