Mia is a 2 1/2 year old spayed female Cocker Spaniel who is looking for her new home due to change in her previous owners circumstances. Mia can be a little shy and sensitive when she first meets you but once she gets to know you she is loving and affectionate. Mia is good with other dogs when she meets them but would prefer to be the only dog in her new home as she gets very attached to her people which can cause some jealousy issues She can’t be left for any period of time without becoming very distressed and destructive so she needs someone at home most of the day who is willing to work with her on this. We would like to rehome Mia to someone with previous experience of Cockers or similar working breeds as she would benefit from further socialization and ongoing training. She is doing very well in her foster home and is house trained and responds to some basic commands just needs some help with her lead training. Mia can get a little over excited and has tendency to growl and nip which is something that will have to be worked on with her. We will only rehome Mia to adult only home and no flats please as she will need direct access to the garden.
