26-11-15 Watcha is a 5 year old exbreeding female cocker spaniel. She is as sweet as candy but a little shy when she first meets you. This is understandable as she has never seen the big wide world before. She wants to be loved and she will come up to you for a fuss when encouraged. She will need a kind dog in her new home to be her role model and learn new skills such as housetraining. Watcha has never walked on a lead before or enjoyed exploring the countryside. She can learn by following a kind dog and hopefully next summer we will receive some lovely update photos of her relaxing in the sunshine. Given time and patience, this pretty little dog will blossom and bloom.

2-12-15 Watcha has seen the eye specialist this week, her right eye does have a cataract which needs surgery and her left eye needs to be removed. This is a harsh blow for Watcha, it would have been hard enough for her to adjust to a new home but with less sight it might be a bit more scary for her. She will need an understanding home who will help her adjust using time love and patience as the main tools. This beautiful girl really needs a special home and a special doggy to help her, is this with you?

27/12/15...Watcha is known in foster as Jet. She is a nervous girl but is gaining in confidence every day. She takes a lot of confidence from her friend Apricot. These two love each other and if someone was able to offer them a New Year miracle and give them a home together this would mean the world to them.
.....Jet has lost her left eye due to a severe cataract and is booked in on the 5th Jan to have the cataract in her right eye removed. If all goes well she will have will have the sight in her right eye and this will not limit her at all. Once the operation is complete she will be able to move to her forever home in mid-January.  However if you are interest please do apply for her now.
.....She is a playful girl who has recently discovered toys. She runs and plays in the field with her friend Apricot the cav who is also looking for a home and If someone was able to offer them a New Year miracle and give them a home together they would be forever grateful. Jet is starting to learn recall, travels well in the car and is house trained. She is a beautiful girl who will continue to flourish with love and attention.

08-01-16 UPATE
Watcha (Jet as she is called here ) has had the complex cataract removed from her eye and amazingly is now able to see.  Her vet at Rowe Refferal's Bristol , who did the surgery thinks this is the first time this lovely girl has been able to see properly. They are very pleased with the way she is recovering and responding. She is now having to learn about the world she has never seen clearly before.  We are so grateful to the team that have made this possible for her.

 15/01/16 Update   Watcha had her eye check up at Rowe Vets last Wednesday.  They are delighted with her progress and cut the amount of drops I am giving her. They feel in time she will be able to come of drops all together .
This really lovely girl is much more friendly and less afraid of us, having so much attention has helped her to trust us and be more comfortable around people. Since eye surgery she has been walked on a lead , so she is now a real star and confident on her walks. She needs a friend in her new home as she has never lived without another dog and is not happy to be alone.
Watcha has a fabulous nature , she is housetrained, she is well socialised with other dogs, she travels really well, she loves her food , she lives a completely normal life now she can see with her right eye.
Please don't overlook this super girl , she wants a Forever home where she can be loved.

I have Maggie cocker who is the perfect lady to learn from.  She is kind and loving, but will stand no nonsense. I have fostered for the oldies and rescued many bloodhounds. I hate looking through these poor dogs on here as it makes me sad and angry, but when you see a good outcome then I feel a bit better about it. I hope a day will come where laws are changed and these dogs are all treated with respect and not just a money making machine.

Oh I am really trying believe me.  I think there is a problem with the adoption form.  I was in touch yesterday with a lovely chap who said perhaps he would be able to help.  In the meantime can anyone suggest how I send this form.  I have a i phone so thats no good and the pc won't send it and I can't print it off to post it! fingers crossed, today will bring a solution.

Me again, a lovely lady very patiently took all the answers for application form and wrote them herself. She will pass them on immediately and I will hear soon if I am suitable.
