HMRC Phishing scam

Just to warn everyone. The scam HMRC emails seem to be back! E mails that look to come from HMRC saying that you have a tax refund due. They should be forwarded to phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk and then permanently deleted.

You would be surprised at how many people are caught out be this and similar. If in doubt delete any email you are not sure of.

There is also one from the DVLA purporting to a refund; again its phishing and should be forwarded to the mailbox provided by sodpot2000 - don't be surprised if you get a message back saying its undeliverable as their mailbox is full  ;) I think they may be getting quite a few mails  ph34r
