Whining when out
« on: March 27, 2017, 09:16:16 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what I need to do for my 11 month old Cocker spaniel who seems to whine when ever We go into a shop, we wait for a bus, on the bus/tube/train. She has no anxiety any other time. I try and ignore it but her singing can get very loud and as adorably cute as she is, no one appreciates a whining dog! It's not like she is new to any of the experiences as she's been a London girl out and about since 12 weeks.  Anyone else experience this?

I wish I had any advice to offer you, but I will certainly be following this in case anyone has some good suggestions.

I too have a very, very vocal little girl. I treat her whenever she's quiet and has stopped whining, so it puts some space between it... but really I've just accepted that she's just a vocal bratty girl, especially when she sees me getting out her food. I can only imagine how much more frustrating this becomes in a public setting.
