I don't get it...

When i look at the main Forum page, it shows me the last poster was....'example', yet when i go in to the topic they are not the last person there, and even if i refresh, i still can't see it.

Its not as though there post had been deleted as its happening too often.

Could it be a problem with my PC?

do you mean that you lost your OWN thread? or someone elses?

mods must have deleted it... perhaps it got a little heated?

The post in question has been moved to an Admin area for the time being.
I'm unable to comment at the moment on the content of the post or reasons for removal.

Think I am talking about something different

What I mean is that say I post a thread and then click onto the main COL page where the most recent posts are on the left. If I go away and come back and refresh ( or even re log on) the main page it says I was the last poster but sometimes if you actually go onto the forum page you discover the the front page is utter nonsense as  posts have been posted after mine but have not been reflected in the front page.

Am I making sense??

I'll look into this one, it may be a cookie issue, I can't recreate the problem at this end at the moment, but will delve further into the problem.

I don't know if it helps - but on my COL homepage, the latest post section shows the posts under "old" usernames (SnopsIW is still ccook)!

That just happened to me Tonio posted then I did but it still says he is the last person to post.  It's not a prob for me - just strange.

Just to add something else. I just got a PM, and when i opended it, it was one i rec back in July..

When i refreshed the page i  had one received today.... and the one above reverted tot he old date.
