1st Camping Trip- Coco Loved It

We have just got back from out camping weekend. Not the best one weather wise, rained constantly but Coco has had a ball  campsite owners have there own dog, plus she runs a dog hotel but only takes in about three or four at one time because she gives them the run of her own home.

Coco's been in every shop & pub in Bishops Castle, the Six Bells Pub even give them biscuits. The only thing he objected to was the carnival, not sure about the piper and the tractors pulling the floats.

We are planning to take our two later in the year; my biggest worry is that they will bark at night at the noises outside the tent

I was worried about that too, but I think they are so shattered from spending all day outside having fun that they'll sleep though anything. 

We took Daisy as a puppy to Silverstone (to meet up with OH's brother who was watching the racing) and she slept though the fireworks, airhorns, shouting people, revving cars etc.  Not something I'd do again though!

I'm glad Coco enjoyed her camping trip!

glad you had a great time. Oh the joys of camping with a dog, In fact we housetriained our old dog in one weekend because of a tent.

Nice to hear coco enjoyed the camping trip..we`re heading away for the first time with bramble in about three weeks time for a week at appleby,i picked the site mainly because it has plenty of dog walking and a dog shower lol.

we used to choose a site so the kids were entertained but our cocker comes first now lol..

You are not kidding, on Saturday night our firends thought we were going to lose the tents, the wind was horrendous the rain never ceased, we all had thoughts of sleeping in our cars!

We met a couple with a blue roan in the pub, she was a Quintavia girl, Coco was besotted..

That was one of my fears, but Coco was that Christmas Crackered from running around and walking all day he was ready to settle down about 8:30, Coco never does that, he's the 'naughty child' that you have to say sternly its time for bed..
