People seem to use all sorts  :005: Hot dog sausages are popular; I use these sometimes or else cocktail sausages (cut into miniscule pieces of course  :lol2:) If I've got anything left over from my own sausage meals (steak or venison usually), she gets that as training treats too.

My two are really keen on liver bread for training but recently i have also used sausage as an alternative. A after cooking them in the grill I cut them into very thin slices and put them in the oven on a baking tray to dry them out until really crunchy.

ph34r Must admit the first batch wasn't intended to be food for the dogs, it was a case of teenage son forgetting to put water in the sausage casserole    :shades:

I use cocktail sausages cut up into small pieces or frankfurter sausages for training Dennis.  For me it has to be sausages that humans can also eat as, a lot of time, I store the treats in my mouth until I get the move I want from Dennis then take a bit out and give it to him.

Hot dgs are far easier to cut into small pieces but cooked sausages will also go down well!
