Decent Digital camera for beginner?
« on: December 04, 2009, 03:03:10 PM »
Hi

I am looking for a good digital camera, I've had a Nikon Coolpix but the battery bit has broken and also when on automatic flash it is tooooo slow to be ready for a pic - hence all my photos from Tally's first trip to the beach are just sand, or sometimes a bit of a tail and sand!

It doesn't have to be state of the art, but a good starter model will do - I'd like a point and shoot, unless someone can persuade me I'd be any good with something more advanced!

Thanks

Sophie

not sure what you want to spend, but the canon G series cameras are very comprehensive and easy to use too, they have a lot of functions you get on a decent digital slr camera

Cheers
