Dylan's reaction in training class tonight.
« on: August 18, 2010, 11:26:50 PM »

As you know  from my previous posts Dylan has sight problems with cataracts.    Well tonight he behaved very strangely in class. Our trainer had a mastiff in the reception area, whose owners she was talking to about the dogs behaviour.  When Dylan went into the class area and we started our class he just froze and went into a down position and would not move I removed him from the class and went back out into the reception area to let him come to a bit . Tried again and he did  recover but not quite his usual self.   Finished the class to go home, walked through the reception area and he did it again he just froze bum up in the air and would not move.  Not like him at all in the 9 years we have had him I have never ever seen this sort of behaviour from him , always a confident dog.   Do you think the problem with his eyes is beginning to cause him too much stress and I should stop talking him to classes or try him again don't want him to finish on a bad note.
