Silver Surfer (indiesnan):
I tried the defragg, but it didn't need it, and ive also done the disc clear up  :P

Sheila:
Ok, you are all making me feel guilty...I better defrag my puter tonight. Hey, I sound so technical!!!

Pammy:
you should do these actions when your PC is not doing anything else at all or you'll get nowhere. You'll need to turn off all scheduled tasks, such as auto updates/AV scans etc that maybe happen when you might be looking to defrag and any screen saver you have. Any proggy kicking in will make the defrag try and start from the beginning and it will only try for three times then give up. The bigger your hard drove and the more files/prog's you have the longer it will take - but overnight is not uncommon.

I won't tell you how long mine takes - just that it doesn't get done often enough
