Lily's Tummy
« on: April 13, 2012, 03:07:47 PM »
I keep finding little yellow headed spots on her tummy / inside of back legs I squeeze the goo out :020:  and it doesn't seem to bother her, they then heal and go away - could the nettle stings be causing them? Or is it just because she only has diddy legs and goes running through grass/bushes etc I haven't seen any actual cuts, grazes etc just the spots   :dunno:

She's had maybe half a dozen or so up to now  :fear2:

It could well be the grass causing it. My Vizsla get them after he has been charging through long grass, as you say they do heal quickly, but I smear sudocrem or germolene on his tum to help the healing :005:

They sound like little pustules. Maybe try washing them with an antibacterial soap like hibiscrub?? I'd keep an eye on them and if they keep coming back or get worse I'd have a vet take a look:)
