Come and join us all, its a great day out or make it a weekend if you want to
Hwar Fun Dog Show And Fete, 21st May - Hamnish nr. Leominster"Well we are now arranging this years show and it promises to be a great one. It will be held at Meadowbank Riding School, Hamnish nr. Leominster, a beautiful venue in the lovely Herefordshire countryside. Easily accessible from the A44 Worcester/Leominster road. Our very grateful thanks to Pam, Solveig, Tilly and the HWAR gang
Should the heavens open as they did last year we have a huge dry barn available, so rain will not stop play!!!!
We will have our usual fun dog show, with rosettes and prizes, best in show will receive the Syd Shaw memorial trophy ( a very special man, my Dad, who passed on to me his great love and compassion for animals in need).
We are hoping to have lots of stalls with a wide range of items, as well as a tombola and raffle.
The HWAR agility display team will be there to entertain you, some of our ex poundies are in the team - amazing what an abandoned dog can achieve with some love and care. Have a go with your own dog - has he got what it takes!!!!
Meet the horses and ponies, rides available and a hack for the more experienced riders.
Camping available - come and spend a weekend in our glorious Herefordshire countryside - miles and miles of wonderful walks and the picturesque market town of Leominster is just a couple of miles away.
Barbeque party Saturday night - come and have some fun!!!.
As we do each year at our show, the highlight of the day will be the parade of the poundies. Please bring your HWAR dog along to join in this very special part of the day - all dogs taking part will receive a Proud Poundie rosette.
For more details, or if you would like to book a stall (all rescues welcome - no charge) please give Carol a ring on 01885 482967 or Dawn on 01981 540009"

Wilf and Ruby are going and attempting to camp over on the saturday along with some others which should be fun as I beleive there might be a BBQ. Quite a few DPers come from all over so if any COLers fancy the trek it could be fun.
