Robbie - just a question - have they tested Henry's thyroid?

This crossed my mind too Lisa  :shades:  Do you remember Dr Nick Thompson at the recent Health Seminar saying dogs that have seizure's should always have their Thyroid tested?  :shades:

Ooh, this is interesting.  I had a Lab with epilepsy, don't think they ever checked his thyroid...

Robbie - just sent you the same link on FB - but here's an article by Jean Dodds on Hypothyroidism and its symptoms.

http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-angels.com/ThyroidDisease.htm
And
http://www.whole-dog-journal.com/issues/8_6/features/15723-1.html

Have a read and see what you think.

Thanks Lisa I've replied on FB.

Took Henry to the Vet and he had improved somewhat.  Vet examined him and all physical signs are good.  He asked me to 'phone him at midday tomorrow and let him know how he is.  I shall mention about having a test for thyroiditis.

Aww Robbie, what an emotional rollercoaster you are on  :'(  Even though I've had a dog with epilepsy, I haven't been through what you are going through right now!!  Maybe you should call the emergency vet and have a chat?
