Just seen this, Mary    . Is she home yet?  I'm sure she'll be much more comfortable after she's recovered from the surgery.  As you know, I worked myself into a tizz a couple of weeks ago thinking that's what was wrong with Morgan and it makes for horrific reading.  Such a painful thing if not treated.  It's good that she's with you now and her other eye is being cared for.
Hope she has a speedy recovery.

Sending her lots of hugs

Hi Mary!

sorry to hear that Tia has had to lose her eye, but she'll get along fine without it as the others have already said.
Is she home yet? Let us know how she is, and how you are!!

Hugs to you both, and smelly cocker kisses from Millie! ;)

Hi everyone,
Thanks again for kind thoughts and wishes.
Tia has come home with a cone on her head, and has been alternatively hyper or zonked out. She got very cross  with the cone, but is already learning to back up when stuck on something, and she can eat with it on which pleases her!
Her face looks awful  , but once the swelling dies down and it doesn't ooze so much (hope you've all eaten), and her fur has grown back, I hope she'll look like she's winking.
She goes back in 10 days for the stitches to come out, so the cone stays until then.
I'll let you know how we get on.
Thanks, this has been such a help today.

So pleased that things went well.  Glad she's adjusting to the cone  :D I'm sure throughout the next ten days she'll invent 101 ways to get it off
And like all good cockers she'll be practicing her powers of persuasion in the treat department.

Hope she continues to recover well.

Its amazing how animals can get used to any form of 'disability'. Glad she got through the surgery well. Hope she continues to improve

Have only just read about this.  So sorry to hear that Tia has had to lose her eye but pleased that she has got the operation over with and I wish her a speedy recovery.
I'm sure she will bounce back as cockers do.
