I came from hospital yesterday (another story) and Toby just wasn't his usual self. As the evening went on his breathing became more "gurgly" and he was constantly twitching. Not totally unusual as he does have a heart mumour and epilepsy but you know when things are different.
He also gradually seemed to be becoming stiffer around his back legs. Not a happy little boy. However he went for his walks and was drinking and eating.
In the night I am not sure what happened but think he went downstairs and fell down the last few. Broken pottery around him but when I got to him, he was walking round. Not wanting to come back upstaris so I slept with him downstairs & Dylan kept us company.
This morning, he is more lethargic, just in so took his tablets, not interested in food or a walk. Went outside for a wee.
Am taking him to the vets this morning and hoping against hope that it is an infection or something else simple.................. but I am not confident at all.
Praying that my little man is not going to leave us today
