New/patient Groomer recommendation Central Scotland
« on: May 11, 2014, 01:33:12 PM »
Rowan is a show cocker, but pet only. She has never liked being brushed or at the groomers. I've finally lost patience with the one we had due to the last twice clipping Rowan's rear bits (uncomfortable, inflamed and vet visit). We had gone to her as she's been doing it many years and its one dog at a time with designated drop off and pick up so no kennel. Rowan is quite timid esp with other dogs, so ideal but she works alone and if Rowan is resisting, I'm thinking this is how this has happened. Currently Rowan has a skin infection/allergy so can't get groomed. When it is cleared and its time for groomer, Rowan is likely to be a bit matted around the ears, skirt and leg fans so the grooming will be more difficult. Can anybody recommend a nice patient groomer who could help? I'd be happy to travel a bit or stay to help hold/reassure.
Proud to be owned by a cocker spaniel.
