Head style

My last cocker I clippered , now seeing how cute Bella looks with a "James May" style for her head I wondered if anyone leaves the top of their dogs head long?

I hand strip Jamie's which takes the 'mop' out but leaves longer hair than a clip. I often leave his top knot to grow for a while as my OH likes to ruffle it up lol but I always end up stripping it out again down to a nice classic dome head look.

Not sure if this will work but here is a picture of my Penny at 18 months with topknot. I think she looks great and I'm reluctant to trim her at all.
