Grooming in Christchurch/Bournemouth area

I have a 6 month old Show Type Cocker spaniel

She is looking a bit scruffy and ready for her first groom, I just visited a groomer in Christchurch who told me she has to be clipped as she has the wrong coat for stripping?
Although I have seen videos and other things on internet saying she can be striped?

Can anyone reccomend a groomer in my area who is good, and will keep all my dogs feathers and shape her head and thin her back out

I've PMed you Beccy. There's a COL member called SueR, who doesn't post on here very often, but is a very good groomer of Cockers and is quite local to you in Barton On Sea.
