Bonfire night
« on: November 05, 2012, 08:23:47 PM »
As I posted previously Harry on Saturday never flinched whilst walking back from the pub, with the fireworks going on. Fast forward to tonight, where there were a lot more fireworks I took him out for his toilet and he wasn't even interested in all the bangs and screams going off, so much so we went for a longer walk and he behaved brilliantly. I didnt let him off the lead anytime though and he was really interested in a bonfire we came across  he just loved all the attention people were giving him. Everytime a firework went off he sort of looked at me and I just carried on as usual and that seemed fine with him. I think it also helped I praised him a lot while walking. Although its far from ideal having fireworks going off it is only a few nights of the year and I am sure this has helped (not that he needed it) his confidence no end.
