John Lewis Insurance
« on: March 04, 2012, 01:31:43 PM »
I have currently got my girls insured with the Kennel Club insurance and they are very good, I cannot fault them. However I am paying around £65 a month for both dogs. Ive been looking around at similar policies and John Lewis seem to do a lifetime policy for around £13.70 per month. That is a massive saving.
Does anyone have any experience of using them?

If you do a search, I think there have been quite a few threads that talked about John Lewis insurance  ;)

Sharon, I am with John Lewis, have been for about 3 years now, I  have claimed numerous times for both Flo and Barnaby with absolutely no problems. Barnaby has had several ops to remove warts that keep appearing. Flo has hypothyroidism they pay for regular blood tests and  medication for life. They deal directly with my vet, I have never had a problem

Sharon,
Greenbee is what John Lewis's insurance  used to be called , they just changed the name fairly recently.

The only problem you might have, is if you've had a claim on the Kennel Club, any new insurer would probably exclude the condition you claimed for

Yes Greenbee was the old name for John Lewis.

Ive been with them for years, always paid claims REALLY quickly, and my premiums have hardly gone up over 4 years. Really dont know how they do it. Im becoming almost evangelical about how good they are, because in this world of bad customer service and huge hiking insurance premiums its great to find somewhere that is actually doing a good job.
