PLEASE DO NOT WATCH IF A RETRIEVE OF A DEAD BIRD IS NOT YOUR BAG.
a short vid, eze was sat at the peg off a lead, sat hup for the duration of this drive on my syndicate shoot. She was totally steady to shot and fall. After the drive we picked a couple of runners (I wont post those vids for obvious reasons) and sent her on this sixty yard ish retrieve of a well hit cock pheasant. You will note that as she gets out she is pulling to my right this is because there is a bird that the next gun shot still un picked and she had winded it. I changed tack on my second handle and turned her away from the distraction by turning her on her right shoulder.
It looks like she spat it out but it was me that dropped the bird 😃

Bird was shot at eleven o'clock and fourty yards high. Was flying well so came down well behind the gun line. I don't shoot birds behind, if bird gets to twelve o'clock it beat me and I doff my cap to it 👍
She retrieves well but has one flaw, she doesn't release a pricked bird without some "assistance" if you know what I mean 😉
