« on: April 27, 2008, 10:12:53 PM »
I want to get back to my free AVG and Zone Alarm which worked well  ;)  I can't seem to get rid of the Virgin PC guard  ::)
I've tried to find it on the search thingy but can't find it
Any tips?

My OH said either
a) uninstall on the add / remove programs function  or
b) phone virgin and ask them to remove it

Hope this info is of help

I had to Uninstall Virgin PC Guard.  I just went into my programs menu and clicked uninstall from there.

I've tried removing it but it keeps saying that a user is using it and to close all applications.  I've closed everything but it still won't delete  >:D

I'm going to ring Virgin tomorrow as I need to change my broadband to medium - the large is £7 extra a month and I don't need it?

I've also bought a laptop and need a wireless router so I'm going to do my best to get one for free.  I've looked at their site and the free router is 'for new customers only'  ::)

While I'm here .................. does anyone know where to get the free Zone Alarm?  I've looked at their website and can only find the versions that you pay for  ;)
