viewing photos

We have avery old computer that is very slow but it usually works when it lets you switch it on.!  However just recently I have found i can only view photos for a short period of time , then when I go to view another they don't come up. It says its downloading but nothing happens. Any ideas gratefully received.

If it's very old then its prob a memory thing in that it doesn't have enough. Not a lot you can do other than upgrade.

Have you tried clearing out your cache and temp internet files?

Thanks for the reply but I don't know what these files are or how to remove them. Any ideas?
