WOOOOOFWOOOOFWOOOOFWOOOOF

YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

YIP YIP YIP YIP YIP YIP YIP YIP

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFF

BARKING!!!    :(

Its driving me NUTS!!

Any chance my two get, they b***dy bark and growl and yap at each other. I know they're only playing but its constant. I have tried giving them lots of toys, taking away all thier toys, turning all the lights off if I leave the room - they STILL BARK!!

I've been lying awake at 5.15am every morning this week thinking either about de-barking them both or giving up dogs and getting into hamsters!    ;)

Will they stop eventually? How do you all cope? Is this normal or are my two excessively barky?!

(Sorry for the bonkers email - thats what sleep deprivation does to you!!! )

Sorry no advice as I only have Daisy and she rarely barks - but your comment about hampsters made me laugh - I've threatened to trade Daisy in for a hampster 3 times this week    Only thing is - she takes no notice

Millie barks at EVERYTHING! Bramble,on the other hand, isn't at all vocal. However....sometimes something starts Millie off and then Bramble joins in and its.........MAD!!!!! Thank god it doesn't happen often.....Millie "Sue Barker" is a yap....and I couldn't cope with two like that!

Poor you  :(

I am sure I remember a thread like this one a few months (or more) ago......from a similarly bark-tortured member (who was it????) - but I've done a quick search and can't find it....you might want to try some search combinations.......

I do find when one starts the other starts    so it can be noisy but generally its if there are noises that they can't identify they'l bark repeatedly to each other.

But the barking isn't nearly as bad as the hareing around the house chasing each other playing like loonies       they manage to move my sofa barging into it...................... :o They wake me up at some ungodly hours some mornings playing

I kind of like it though!!!!!

Hamsters are just as bad!!!!!!! you can hear ours running in its wheel at night...... which does get taped up on occasion for this reason..... the wheel not the hamster

My dogs (6) love barking too,Frida is the worst!
When they start barking I said "stop it",if they don't listen, then I shout on them..After that they are calm again :)

Oh my goodness!  mine aren't that bad.  Jessie barks at anything and nothing.  I am trying to get her to respond to "hush!" - but it only works 20% of the time.  So, I then threaten to put her on her bed.  After being put on her bed a few times for not being quitet, she now responds to just the threat and shuts up! :)

I do sympathise with you.  I have got Ronald who is losing his marbles and starts barking at any time at nothing and is deaf and cannot hear himself, this starts Mikey and Herbie off.

I also have 2 hamsters running around a wheel at night, and a cat who sounds like he's singing Frank Sinatra's My Way outside the front door in the early hours.  I also have 2 kids, one of who wakes me up everynight asking for Calpol for his imaginary sore throat.  Sometimes I feel like I am going OUT OF MY MIND  AHHHHHHHHH.    :(  :P
Love Michele, Mikey and Herbiexx

So, no immediate plans for number 3 then, Toni? ;)     Dallas and Disney are very vocal when out at the park - it is just constant and drives me mad. Must be ten times worse when its in a confined space

If need be, I'll take Woody off your hands - just to give you a bit of peace, you understand ;)  :P
