A rare positive thread about Mocha!
« on: October 17, 2010, 09:41:12 PM »
As I always seem to on here telling tales of Mocha's trying behaviour, I thought I'd come on today to sing her praises!

She had her 2nd agility class yesterday and she's been fab.   :luv:  I had a hunch that she'd enjoy it and know that she is incredibly intelligent, but unfortunately she usually uses it for evil.   :lol2: I had no idea quite how focussed she would be and she's picked it up so quickly.  She's got everything right first time and is really keen.  The only downside is that she barks the whole time we're waiting for our next go.   ::)  However, with the help of a clicker I can take the opportunity to reinforce her "quiet" command.

So far there's no sign of it causing any problems with her shoulders, but we haven't done too much and not even touched the contacts yet, so we'll have to see.  I really hope she doesn't have a flare up as we're having such a great time together.   :D  She's so quick and agile that I think she's going to make a great little agility dog.   :luv:

Aw... well done Mocha and you... bet you feel great too ;) :luv:

Hope she doesn't do a Normy on you and learn it all super fast, be brilliant for 2 weeks, then get bored, decide it's beneath her and refuse to do it anymore  ::) :005:

Good luck!

One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue is that he doesn't try to find out why.  ~Author Unknown

Oh Hannah, Normy's a classic!   :lol2:  :luv:

That's always a possibility, but as Mocha is so food obsessed, I think she'll humour me and do it for the treats!  :lol2:  ::)
