I'm aiming to get down with Caoimhe to do grade 1, just need to double check the dates but I think they should be fine.

Well I'm down anyway for the block week until the Friday so if the test was on the Saturday that's only extending the stay by one day!

Ah, I see....brain isn't working at the minute and I'd forgotten that your block weeks are on then <doh> I think we are having to do a couple of tests on the saturday as someone can't get the sunday off work. I'm sure we can fit you in. The saturday is meant for test practise/polish and getting the dogs used to the ground, but as the assessor will be there anyway, I'm sure we can get a few tests done at the end of the day before we lose the light. You'll get to meet Tank.

Hi John

You'd be most welcome to join us for the training on the saturday. Cost is £25 for the day, tea/coffee and light refreshments available. Bring a packed lunch. Email me on wolf@druidale.org.uk and we'll sort it all out for you :)

Great stuff pauline, have pmd you. Looks like the boy is gonna be busy next week then, I have also got him on a shoot this week and I think this day will probably give me more some good pointers on handling him more than anything.  ;)  Really looking forward to it, anyone else from Col going?

Just Like to say a big thankyou to Pauline for organising the Gundog test and training day today, Denise Hubbard the class tutor and assesor really knows her stuff, I had a great day with Raven and Denise has a really nice calm personality that made us feel both at ease,  she identified a few issues with my handling and advised me to change voice tone and body language to make Raven feel more at ease as I would get more from him,  I was amazed at the difference in his perfomance and quite noticable improvement almost instantly. And she also gave some great advise on which path to take on our future. Just goes to show its always the owners and never the dogs.

Thanks to Pauline, Denise and all the gang who organised today and put on a lovely buffet on too, its been a day I have really enjoyed. Cheers Guys.
