I wonder if you could help. A male, all black, Cocker Spaniel was handed to us on Sunday 16th May, he has no id or microchip, is under 1 yr old probably around 8mths old, has a full tail, is in good condition and friendly with people; he doesn’t appear to have been mistreated in any way. We have checked with Dorset Police and no one has so far reported him missing. He will be in Council care until Monday 24th May and will then be up for re-homing (we have already found a potential new home for him). My concern is that he has been stolen from somewhere outside of Dorset and either escaped or dumped here, in which case I would like to ask that you put him on your website in case his owners are looking for him; as I find it hard to believe such a lovely, very likely pedigree, well cared for dog has been purposely abandoned. Please note though that after Sunday 24th May the Council will no longer have any legal obligations to him, therefore he will no longer be in our care and will be re-homed. Please find attached some photo’s of the dog. Many thanks for your help on this matter, please contact me if you wish to discuss it further.
