Title: Milbemax no longer prescription only?
Post by: abkb on February 21, 2013, 04:35:00 PM
I've just been pondering what wormer to use. Molly has always been great with Milbemax, but I was put off having to get it off the vet, so we went onto Drontal (cue projectile vomiting) and also Panacur (which seems to have mixed opinions re whether it is a preventative wormer).

Anyway, sites such as vetuk and viovet which I have used previously, are now selling Milbemax? Am I right in thinking that it is no longer a prescription-only wormer?

I had a look on the Vet UK site and in brackets it says that it is prescription only so I'm not sure anything's changed
