Title: Am Thrilled
Post by: AndyB on February 28, 2013, 09:08:55 PM
 :happydance:

Today we have taken delivery of a fairly large shed which my OH wants to use for his gym equipment.  I have claimed an area in the shed for dog grooming.  My grooming table can now be permanently erected and all my grooming equipment is at the side of the table in three drawers.  This is just great after years of having to drag the table out and put it up in the garage every time I wanted to groom or clip the dog.  Soo I envisage Jazz will be groomed more regularly and as I suffer from arthritis it will make life much easier for me too.  I took Jazz into the shed this afternoon to view his new "Grooming Room" and he seems to approve.   Am I sad.

A grooming table is an absolute must.  I always took my cockers to a professional groomer until I had Jazz and his breeder kindly offered to give me some tuition to groom him myself.  Although it seemed a big expense at the time, the cost of the table and some Andis clippers, which were much superior to the ones I had before, the equipment has paid for itself tenfold.  Start saving.

No, you're not sad, I've got a 12' x 12' log cabin in my garden, which I use for grooming, it also has the freezer in there for the dogs raw food.  Son in law is an electrician so it's all wired up for my blaster dryer etc.  which saves my house being full of dog hair.

You are so lucky, I would love somewhere where my grooming table could permanently stand.

What a brilliant idea...to use a shed as a permanent grooming a room.

I have a patio area at the top of my garden that isn't used, I wonder....... :D
