Title: Roxy has a small cut on her leg - updated - more than a small cut!

...what's the best way to treat it please? It's only small - about the size of a small fingernail - and she has basically skinned it but it's where her leg meets her body and is bothering her

Poor Roxy, could you put a bit of Sudocreme on the wound, that it is what i would do :shades:

Yes as long as its clean, sudocreme and keep an eye on it.

Depending on how deep it is, you could always try and put a bit of a bandage on it? Although I'm sure it wouldn't last long :(.

Well, despite my hubby being prone to exaggeration, it turned out to be more than a "small cut" and Roxy ended up at the vets having 7 stitches in it poor baby. In addition to that we had booked a weekend away walking in Teesdale and there she was in a lampshade and lead walking only! Needless to say the lampshade was swapped for a babygro when we got home but poor thing. What a time for it to happen and all she did apparently was run into some bushes and came back out limping.

Was fab thanks Wendy - recommend it but only big enough for 2 people and dogs. Will definitely go back. Right next door to  pub and walks right from the doorstep :)

She seems much better already thanks everyone and she's being a good girl now and leaving it alone after a few stern "Roxy no"s :)
