hi all my bitch had a litter of 6 pups 4 weeks ago today everything was fine up intill yesterday when she seems to had enough an stopped nursing the pups, she is still producing milk an got no mastitis*sp my main question is should i go an get some powdered milk, the pups have been feeding on beta pup soaked in water last couple of days so should i keep feeding them that but more often or bottle feed them as well

When you say she's stopped nursing the pups, is she behaving oddly in any way, hiding away for example? If so, there's a possibility of eclampsia in nursing bitches which needs urgent veterinary attention. But if she's fine in herself and is just not wanting to feed the pups, have you trimmed the puppies' nails yet? By 4 weeks old, puppy nails can be v long and v sharp which will be painful for Mum, making her reluctant to want to feed her babies.
