Title: Bo's First Show

Yesterday I took Bo to his first show.  It was a Fun Show run by Hornsea Inshore Rescue.  I thought it would be good for Bo to meet lots of new people and dogs as he lives quite a sheltered life here. 

There were approximately 80 entries, so I thought that we wouldn't have a chance of getting placed.  Imagine my delight when we were awarded first prize in the 'Best 6 Legs' class!! My old pins mustn't be too bad!!

 Bo then went and outdid himself and won Best in Show!  I am still totally in shock!!!  I am so proud of my amazing little boy...I still can't believe how good he was!!  :luv:He isn't a 'show dog'...but he behaved so well...and looked like he knew what he was doing (which was more than I did!!).

I now wonder if I could pluck up the courage to enter a 'real' show? :fear2:

I apologise for 'bragging' about our result...but I am so overcome that I just had to share!

Well done Bo and pleased for you My Jennie got prettiest bitch at Egton show and I was so pleased for Noticed it was Hornsea I come from Guisborugh and other Cols live near by so wondered where you are ?Maybe a meet one day.

Well done! Would've been Best in Show if I'd been judging too! Would love to see more pictures.

Congratulations Joanne and Bo.  He obviously has talent as well as good legs :luv:

Well done Bo, we go to lot's of fun shows and have just started doing open shows (we have lots of issues with Rufus so it's been a long hard process) give the open shows ago - you may surprise yourself! If you don't want to do open shows yet have you thought about ring craft? We go and I've had so much support from them and it's also nice to go with the people you meet to various shows. Good luck if you go for it.
