Love it :rofl1: :rofl1: Sorry shouldn't laugh I know. For once, it's not me-Bonnie has been a Christmas  and hasn't even sniffed the tree.....so far xx

I love the video!
We put ours on a small table, and I had put a bit of fabric over it. Then Ludo worked out that if he pulls the fabric he gets a brilliant amount of attention from us screaming. .. the fabric has been removed!
-
Now the stand has broken its wonky, and I can hardly look at her. I only brought it yest!! >:D

Well, Chaz hasn't had ours over, it was more of a case of towing it around the living room with it still in it's box kind of thing.
Our 6 ft tree, in it's rather battered cardboard box, was brought down from the loft and put on the living room floor while a side table was moved to make the tree's "usual place" available. Next thing the box and tree whizzed off for a lap around the living room being towed by Chaz. I made a grab for the box and missed but Dot managed to grab hold of the tip of the tree that was sticking out of the end of the box.
Result, our tree was now out of the box and close to where we wanted it while Chaz disappeared out into the kitchen with a much lighter cardboard box in tow.
Milly, like the refined lady she is, took no part in the unboxing but contented herself with twirling round in circles Woo Wooing :005:
The box is now even more battered but, on a positive note, it's not every cocker that helps to get the decorations ready ;).
Bob.

Tilly preferred the gifts under the tree :luv:

Not dared put one up yet!! ph34r

Charlie hasn't, and has never been that bothered by the tree...
However, 2 years ago this appeared (a few months too early - but ultimately under the tree for me)

Tree not pulled over but lots of "tinkling" when Jazz walks in and out of the lounge and I'm constantly picking up various decorations he has knocked off on his travels.
-
Amazingly, Murphy hasn't managed to take the tree out yet though it is not for the lack of trying.
-
My balls (oops will start again) ph34r
The tree balls (baubles) are getting put up higher and higher on the tree as they get wafted off from the bottom by Cupars tail. Im demented picking them up off the floor. Soon all the decorations will be above tail height and the bottom half of the tree will be bare. The joys of cocker motherhood
-
Don't think mine have noticed they're there
-
Whoops. We have more trouble with the rabbit

Last Christmas, when our dog Bailey was only a pup we experienced the fun that can be had by a cocker at this time of year.
Thinking we had been clever and fenced round the bottom of the tree with pieces of puppy panel, we did not bank on him taking a flying leap off the back of a sofa, sailing past the tree, grabbing a piece of tinsel and galloping off with it waving behind him like something out of a rhythmic gymnastic display! We had to laugh him though for his creativeness and he was quite happy to exchange it for a small piece of cheese. After that we bought small bells to put on the tree, like a cocker early warning system.
This year we have put the tree up again, with the panels, but nowhere near the sofa or any other surface to bounce from! But Bailey does not seem bothered about the tree at all now(probably thinks, did that last year... ;)). Anyway, there are plenty of other interesting things to try, like helping with wrapping presents and of course the year round joy of stealing socks... :D
-
MINE HAS!!! and he's nearly 8 years old! three times its come over. although it hasn't come down since the presents have been put underneath!!
-
My last cocker Barney used to knock over the tree every year and steal the chocolates off it - you'd have thought we would have learned  :005:. When I got Brodie I bought a small tree that sits up in the alcove, so we don't have that problem with her. She still manages to steal countless baubles and pieces of tinsel when we are putting the tree up though ;)
-
We're having to guard the tree form Ralph :005:
We have lots of bells around the bottom so we can hear when he's near it but I'm definitely not putting any presents under it!! It's a 7ft tree so reasonably substantial which has been a blessing because he stands on the arm of the sofa and stretches to reach it and the things on it, we now have a bare patch with nothing on it!!
I was hoping he'd get bored of it after a while but that's not happening, our other cocker has never bothered with it and even when our collie was alive he only watched the lights but never touched the tree :005:
-
So far so good here
Tree and most decorations in place now - including decorative candles on the fireplace, and apart from the initial nosiness...and a very stern 'leave' he has been as good as gold :luv:
-
Our tree has been up since Dec 1 and so far, just a few baubles knocked off due to a waggy tail :005: Oh and one stolen chocolate decoration! She is a bit obessed with the stocking I've got for my OH though, she keeps trying to drag it into her bed :005: Ours is quite big, 7ft, so quite difficult to knock over thankfullly!

Hubby decreed we couldn't have our tree up and bought a (VERY) small fibre optic one to put on the sideboard. I said if we were having Christmas it included a tree that was big enough to put some decorations on! So we put up the tree with some tinsel and the lights on it and left it a day or so. No response from Princess Charlie. The next day I added some decorations, no response so the following day I put the rest on. That was Friday - so far so good! If this thread jinxes it I'll be back - and no giving other puppies ideas you norty ones!
-
My friend has bought Hudson a Christmas present which I'm pretty sure has treats within the wrapping... Cue lots of enthusiastic sniffing around the Christmas tree... >:D :005:
-
Minstrel's pressies and treats are still in their hiding place at the mo - don't want to tempt fate.
Being a littly, I think it would be rather cruel of me to put them in nose reach - then tell him off if he touches them ;)
-
Tree is tied to the windows in three places with string, doesn't look pretty but it's NOT coming down ph34r
-
Jake has had a little munch, but, did eat the Christmas card lovingly prepared by me for him to his daddy via Moonpig >:D
-
So far, so good this year - we only had a little one in a pot last year, up on a chest - he did have a sniff but didn't bother too much. This year we have a 5 foot one, but up on a table in the corner by the sofa. Again a few sniffs from the sofa, and he's nosed a bauble and a bow once or twice, but, apart from that he doesn't seem bothered.
