Hudson has been pratting me about ALL afternoon... hanging around the back door constantly, pretending to need the loo, and then just mucking about in the garden chasing the cats, eating the plants etc when he does go out and point blank ignoring me when I call him in, or running in the opposite direction when I go out to get him - I've collected him from the neighbours garden twice!! I've been playing with him, doing a bit of training with him etc to try and distract him from this irresistible urge to be in the garden, but just can't seem to keep his attention for more than a minute or so. Then in the living room just now, he has just sat in the middle of the carpet, looked me right in the eye and done an ENORMOUS poo right there in front of me!!! >:D
If this is puppy adolescence- I'm moving out!!!

:rofl1: did it have any tinsel in it or at least a holly twig :005:
-
Wish it had've done, then it would've prickled his bum on the way out!
-
Sorry but

I had one of those days yesterday.... In, out, in, out at least 50 times. The little b***er even just scratches the door and waits for me to open it, then nothing! Just looks at me. My OH says just to ignore him but you never know when it might be toliet time for real >:D
Norty Hudson... Good job he's cute :luv:

had one of those weekends so far also ... so glad it's not just Huxley.
Hux has just discovered the front door mat as well - leaving a nice steaming present there after just getting in from the garden >:D
As well as the asking to go out it's also been a bite'y weekend, my poor hands look like a work in a kitchen with short-sighted knife sharpener.
What's keeping me sane is everybody goes through this.
Sounds like Hudson and Huxley have been exchanging notes. ;)

I am having the same here, must be the season and Selby is 4 >:D

I think I would be more prepared to excuse Huxley as he is only a baby still ;) Hudson is 6 months old nearly and should know better... :shades: ph34r
It was such a battle to persuade him to toilet outside in the first place that I'm reluctant to start ignoring him now he's asking to go out... he's playing me like a good un!!
Hubby is quickly learning today that Christmas party hangovers and cocker spaniel puppies are not a good mix!! :005: :luv:

funny - i discovered on Friday that 12 pubs of christmas and cocker puppies the next day are't the best mix :)
6 months - cheeky boy got you right where he wants you :005:
Hux is a funny one - leaves are just so exciting that 'going' takes second place hence in and out.
It's those Cockerdile teeth this weekend though - uber sharp on his daddy's hand and all the tricks to get him to stop seem to be failing - time outs seem to calm him down.

I remember those days... drawing blood daily!! You will get there eventually, don't worry. I remember thinking it would never end and we'd have this vicious little brute forever! :005: Time outs are good though. Hudson has lost all his puppy needles now... :D

We have an angel in Fudge compared to some of these antics. Just waiting for him to flick the switch but at 16 months we are keeping our fingers crossed he will carry on as he is.
We are so lucky with him.
