Eight months ago I never thought I would be writing this. Two weeks after losing our beloved bc we got Meg, like many, I suspect, I did say I wasn't having another dog but the house was so empty and our hearts ached so much we sought out a puppy and came home with a ball of fluff. This ball of fluff was a typical cockerdile and many, many times I did wonder if we had done the right thing. Fast forward to this week, given the time of year and the many people in and out of our house she has been an absolute angel :luv: today she has excelled herself, we went to clumber park, along with the rest of the world, and she has behaved so well and in a way that 10 months ago I never ever thought she would. She has had a ball, finding muddy puddles, meeting other people and dogs, seeing squirrels, ducks & geese and just generally doing things that puppies do. I am one proud, happy, cocker spaniel owner. She has brought a new lease of life into our life's and I am so glad we took the plunge 10 months ago. To all you new puppy owners, hang in there I now know what the lovely people on here meant when they said it gets better, today has proved it to me :D
