Title: bloodshot eyes

The white area around my pup's eyes is constantly bloodshot. Is this normal?

Murphy has the same thing. It is usually when he is tired and after a sleep they are back to normal.

I mentioned it to the vet at his 6 month check up and he said that it was normal and nothing to worry about.
